For the weekly photograph challenge, I looked no further than to this photograph I took last Sunday. I was enjoying a beautiful walk in Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens, near Brisbane. It’s a Calliandra surinamensis, Pink Poodle and I loved the pink detail of the flowers.
Have you ever had to sleep on the wrong side of the bed? After you’ve staked a claim to your-side-of-the-bed for over twenty seven years, just imagine how odd it would feel to sleep on ‘the other side’.
It’s raining; in fact it’s pouring with no evidence of snoring. There is no let up. Storms are lashing the east coast of Queensland heading southwards into NSW and beyond. There is flash flooding in places and the advice is to stay indoors so that’s exactly what I’m doing.
