Hitting the Reboot Button

The wheel is spinning but the hamster is dead

2021 saw some pivotal changes for me and although I had been sharing plenty of family dramas and triumphs with you over the last few years, it is now time for me to press the reboot button.

Waking the Wombat was born back in 2014: “Life – Part 2, Experiences from a big island”. Writing was an outlet for me and before I knew it, I had a whole new community of like-minded people at my finger tips – fellow bloggers, writers and photographers from all across the world. I loved it. The connection, the sharing and the friendship was special. There was meaning and time – we all had time.

As I press the restart button on my life this year, I have been contemplating if I should retire the wombat, afterall, no-one has time to read blogs anymore, right? Turns out I’m wrong and have been persuaded to restart the wombat too. So with the re-start button within my reach, Life – Part 3, is not far away – stay tuned! Hopefully the hampster can be rebooted too, at least we can stop the wheel and help it back on.
