Last week we were inundated with tiny butterflies; thousands of them! The Caper White from the other side of the Great Dividing Range in western Queensland and New South Wales have migrated to south east Queensland in search of food. There is an abundance of them this year mainly due to favourable breeding conditions and wind patterns that have helped them on their way, enabling them to travel further than usual.
Sadly they won’t be here for long but it’s been wonderful to see them in the city.
