The theme for this week’s lens-artist challenge is Seascapes and/or Lakeshores. I’ve dipped into my favourite shots of Brighton Beach in South Australia – taken some time ago now, my son and friends playing on their skimmer boards in the evening sun. I love the action in it.

This photo is also Brighton Beach shot on a different evening after a sweltering day of heat. The water was as calm as a mill pond.

I love the action photo of your son and his friend at the seashore. The splashes of the water added even more fun to the photo. A great capture of the sunset of the second one, the sky is beautifully capture.
Thank you so much for sharing! 🙂

Hi, WtW. I enjoyed your post. The action shot of your son is terrific. The sunset is a beautiful contrast to your first shot, with its soft focus and light.

Great photographs! Beautiful beach! I had to look twice at the name Brighton because I know the Brighton in Queensland but apart from South Australia I discovered there are Brightons in Victoria and Tasmania with a swanky one Brighton-Le-Sands in New South Wales. No doubt all named after the UK original 🙂

Yes, there seems to be a Brighton and Move in every state and also in NZ. Thanks for your comments 😊
