This is Max. Max had a brief encounter with Chief and they became instant friends. One evening a jogger knocked on our door clutching a huge dog collar with a black labrador attached to it. The jogger wanted to know if it was our escaped dog. We said ‘no’. The jogger didn’t have a mobile phone on her, could we take the dog and call the RSPCA tag number? We said ‘yes’. Turned out Max had just moved in across the road and had decided to take on his own ‘meet and greet’ the neighbours minus his new owner.
Max turned out to be a bit of a Houdini and ended up at our house on several occasions; turns out they love the hand that feeds them!

That’s very true Lucy, labradors are such friendly dogs, who would give them away, or mistreat them!! I guess it could have been someone too old to look after him. Whatever the reason, you and Chief have gained a great friend by the looks of it 🙂
